Cookie Policy

What are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files. They are sent by the website that you visit and stored on the device (computer, tablet, smartphone) you are using. The default settings of web browsers usually allow cookie files to be stored and later read by the server that created them. However, you can change these settings at any time. But you must keep in mind that completely disallowing the storage of such files on your device might completely or partially disable some website functions from operating.

Cookies contain a variety of information needed for the proper functioning of the service, especially those functions that are associated with authorisation (e.g. when logging in), filling in forms and web page customisation.

It is impossible to identify your personal data through cookie files. These files also do not affect the use of your software and hardware in any way.

How long are cookies stored on your computer?

There are two main types of cookies:

  • Session cookies – these are active only when using the browser and therefore automatically deleted once you close it,
  • Persistent cookies – stored on the device for a long time, so that the settings you selected are not lost, meaning that it is possible for the service owner to identify (through service traffic analysis) the new and returning users of this site.

Why does Gala Collezione collect such information?

Cookies are collected by us primarily for statistical purposes – we analyse the traffic on our website and check how often each of its sub-sites is visited. We do this in order to better understand the ways in which all the Internet users use our website. Such knowledge helps us work on continuous improvement of the website content and introduce new functionalities. At the same time, these files allow us to display the page according to your personal settings, such as language, site version, font size, etc. This gives you a faster, more convenient and easier access to its content.

How can I delete cookies from my computer?

You can do this by changing the settings in the web browser you are currently using. You can restrict their record in part or completely, and remove the ones that were previously stored. The way to change these settings varies depending on the browser – we suggest you use “Help” option in your browser to find out how to do it. In case of the most popular browsers – you will find the instructions by clicking the following links::
